A striking Arts & Crafts brooch centred on a large old cushion-cut citrine of approximately 60 carats, in a bright lemon-yellow tone. The stone is rub-over set in a closed collet and framed by a hand-made scrolling wirework surround, typical of the Arts & Crafts movement. Open back allows light through the stone. Original C-clasp and pin.
