A rare and highly distinctive vintage Swatch “Silver Plate” wristwatch, reference GM129, dating from 1994. This unusual Swiss-made quartz watch features a minimalist silver-tone dial with a rotating disc display at 6 o’clock showing the hours and minutes. The watch is fitted with its original silver-tone expanding metal bracelet. The dial is marked “Swatch Swiss” and “© Swatch AG 1994”. It comes with its original Swatch presentation case, Atlanta 1996 Centennial Olympic Games packaging and accompanying paperwork. The watch is in good vintage pre-owned condition and is currently running. It displays the time correctly through the rotating hour-and-minute discs. There are light surface scratches, marks and general signs of age and previous use to the case, crystal, bracelet and packaging. The clear plastic presentation box also shows storage wear.
