A charming vintage BRAX men’s mechanical wristwatch, believed to date from approximately the 1960s. The watch features a classic cream-coloured dial with gold-tone baton hour markers and hands, together with an attractive subsidiary seconds dial positioned at 6 o’clock. It is powered by a traditional hand-wound mechanical movement. The dial is marked “Shock Resistant”, while the case back is marked “Antimagnetic” and “Stainless Steel Back”. The case measures approximately 32.85 mm across, excluding the winding crown. The watch is in good vintage condition and displays well for its age. There are scratches, surface marks and some wear to the case, crystal and dial, consistent with its age and previous use. The dial has developed an attractive vintage patina. Fitted with a brown leather-style replacement strap. The watch is currently running when wound. Its long-term accuracy, power reserve and service history are unknown, and it has not been professionally tested or recently serviced. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description. A stylish and uncommon vintage BRAX mechanical watch with a classic mid-century appearance. The original box and papers are not included.
