These chairs are very similar in style to the well-known THONET 404 chairs designed by Stefan Diez, featuring beautifully shaped bentwood frames, rounded seats and clean architectural lines. There are age-related signs of use including surface wear, scuffs and rubbing to the front edges, rear edges and some corners, as shown in the photographs.
